Learning with Gina

Curiosity grows when learning feels like part of the story.

Gina’s activities are built around exploration, choices, puzzles, creativity and trying again. The aim is not to turn play into a lesson, but to make useful thinking part of the adventure.

Learning through play

Different activities exercise different kinds of thinking.

Story choices and emotional understanding

Adventures present a small problem, ask children what they would do and explain the consequence of each choice. A less helpful answer is followed by feedback and another opportunity to try.

  • Perspective-taking
  • Cause and effect
  • Kindness and responsibility
  • Reflecting before acting

Logic and problem-solving

Wonder Worlds use routes, gears, light, gravity, portals, weather controls and rescue mechanics. Children must notice relationships, test an idea and adjust it.

  • Planning
  • Spatial reasoning
  • Pattern recognition
  • Flexible problem-solving

Memory and sequencing

Matching pairs, repeating musical patterns, following numbered constellations and multi-step adventures require children to hold and organise information.

  • Working memory
  • Sequencing
  • Attention
  • Following multi-step goals

Storytelling and language

Story Studio lets children choose settings, friends, objects, actions and words across three to six scenes before watching the result as a film.

  • Narrative order
  • Cause and effect
  • Vocabulary and expression
  • Creative decision-making

Music and listening

Melody Maker supports free play, composition and echo activities. Up to six scores can use different instruments and play together as one song.

  • Rhythm and pattern
  • Auditory memory
  • Experimentation
  • Listening and repetition

Persistence without pressure

Gina encourages children to try again. Progress can be saved, activities replayed and mistakes treated as useful information rather than a reason to stop.

  • Patience
  • Confidence
  • Independent exploration
  • Goal completion
For parents

Clear, concrete learning opportunities.

We describe what each activity asks children to practise rather than promising academic outcomes. Gina is an entertainment and learning-through-play environment, not a substitute for school teaching or professional educational support.
